War Horses For Heroes

WarHorses for Heroes is a local non-profit organization that provides equine-assisted therapy to veterans who have sustained service-related mental or physical injuries. The organization was founded in the summer of 2015 and by Christmas it was able to partner with the VA to invite the first veterans out to meet the horses and begin the program. The mission for WarHorses for Heroes is to ensure that there is help waiting for veterans when they return home and assist them in rejoining the world.
